I am a loving and devoted mother to two incredible teenage boys, with a nurturing spirit that extends to my adorable furry companion, Hope, who adds an extra dose of love to our cherished family dynamic.

 

Education has always been the cornerstone of my ambition, as I have achieved my Undergraduate degree from Morrisville State University. A pivotal moment in my career came in 2013 when I earned my Masters in Nursing Leadership and Administration from Walden University. My thirst for knowledge knew no bounds, leading me to achieve my lifelong dream - a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the prestigious Duke University in May 2023. My pursuit of excellence has been recognized with certifications in Medical-Surgical nursing and Nursing Executive Leadership from the revered American Nursing Credentialing Center.

 

Beyond my extraordinary achievements, I have become a guiding light for aspiring medical professionals and individuals seeking a path into the healthcare realm. As a dedicated mentor and coach, I can skillfully guide individuals on their journey, breaking down seemingly insurmountable goals into bite-sized, achievable pieces. In my quest to make a significant impact, I continue to channel my passion for health and prevention in the Black community. By collaborating with local organizations and individuals, I continuously promote the use of publicly available tools from the American Heart Association to elevate individual health outcomes and build a stronger, healthier community.
